If you’ve been eyeing up the Skylight Calendar, yeah, me too. But I just couldn’t justify the investment for our family. (No judgment to those that have, I’m sure it’s great!)

But I really wanted something for the girls - especially now that they’re getting older that they can see what nights they have commitments, use checklists, etc. 🫶🏽

I just happened to come across someone on here who repurposed an iPad, and I thought omg that’s brilliant. We have one that’s quite literally collecting dust. I can make that work!

Plus, I don’t have to worry about another monthly subscription.

We can watch Sunday sports while cooking, or browse a new recipe to try out.. but it’s also going to do so much more than that - not only is going to become our family command centre, but I plan to set it up with a new family Apple ID, add a 3rd line and it will also become a base for our home phone - cause the girls are not getting cell phones anytime soon!

Now I plan to go down a rabbit hole now and see what else we can do to make our day to day family life easier. 😂

Maybe you can’t quite explain it.

You just know that lately, the idea of a little more space has been sounding really, really good.

A few acres.

A big garden.

Open fields.

Coffee outside where the loudest thing you hear is a rooster… or a piece of farm equipment somewhere in the distance.

Room for the kids to run.

A shop you’ve been talking about forever.

Dogs with enough space to lose their minds properly.

Maybe some animals. Because once you start imagining acreage life, animals will enter the chat.

But underneath all of that, maybe what you’re actually craving is a different pace.

A little quieter.

A little slower.

A little more connected to home.
