Jonathan Stewart’s journey in real estate began in 2004 when he started taking his real estate courses after a simple but meaningful conversation with Evelyn Miller, an experienced local Realtor®, after church. That same year, Jonathan joined Sutton Group - Sault Ste. Over the last 20+ ye

ars, Jonathan has established himself as an honest, caring and productive real estate Broker and Team Leader in Northern Ontario, centred around Sault Ste. In 2016, Anne Garofalo was hired to assist in further building and managing the growing real estate business. Anne serves today as our Listing and Transaction Manager, overseeing all things from contract to close. In 2017, Shannon Vine joined the Stewart Team as our dedicated photographer, shooting photos, creating virtual tours and floor plans, flying our drone, and designing marketing ads. In 2018, Jonathan’s wife Marney joined Jonathan in the real estate business as Co-Owner and Client Care Manager. Marney ensures that the quality of our client experience goes above and beyond typical buying and selling expectations. That same year, Paul Mathewson, supported by his lovely wife Ruth, joined Stewart Team as our first ‘Senior’ Sales Partner, and we are very honoured to have him representing the Stewart Team in Sault Ste. Paul really likes helping people get where they want to go. In 2018, the Stewart Team joined Royal LePage® Northern Advantage, Brokerage. Theo Straatsma joined the Team as a new agent in Spring 2021, and provides dedicated service to his Buyer and Seller clients in the area from St. Joseph Island to Blind River. Theo and his wife Lisa live and work on Big Basswood Lake east of Thessalon. Cody Stubbe joined the Stewart Team in 2023, after a successful career in Volkswagen sales, and continues to put clients first in a caring and professional manner. Cody and his wife Stephanie live on St. Joseph Island, and Cody serves the North Shore and Soo areas. Brian Whitley, a long-time family friend and retired teacher and engineer, got his real estate license in 2024 and joined the Stewart Team. He is kind, professional, and caring. We are happy to have him on the Team, and he and his wife Heather as fellow Islanders. From the start, our business has succeeded only because of two things: God’s never-ending kindness and generosity; and the kind recommendations and referrals of our clients and customers over the years.
