📊 GTA Market Update – March 2026

We’re seeing a shift…

✔️ Sales are up
✔️ Listings are down
✔️ Prices are slightly lower than last year

👉 Buyers still have negotiating power
👉 But tightening conditions could start pushing prices to level out

With 5,039 sales (+1.7%) and listings down 16.7%, the spring market is starting to move.

📊 GTA Housing Market Update For Feb 2026

Home sales in the Greater Toronto Area were down 6.3% compared to last year, with 3,868 homes sold in February.

But here’s the interesting part, new listings dropped even more, down 17.7% year-over-year.

Many buyers are currently waiting for prices to stabilize before jumping back into the market. However, with fewer homes being listed, competition could increase if demand returns.

Experts estimate over 100,000 buyers are currently sitting on the sidelines, meaning the market could gain strong momentum later in 2026 if conditions improve.

🏡 In short: less inventory + pent-up demand could push the market forward later this year.
