We have neighbours across the road from us at our Orr Lake property, who are honestly the most amazing couple. They are 84 and 90 years old, but there is very little they cannot do. Even when we wanted to knock down one of the buildings on the property, the husband George told us, don’t hire anyone, I will come and help you. Last year when the snow storm knocked down our gazebo, as we are driving into the property, we see him on top of the roof of it, trying to clear the mess. He gives me minor heart attacks lol, but there are so many stories, and they truly make my visits to Orr lake enjoyable and warm up my heart. They decided it was time to leave Orr Lake, as the property is too large for them, and a neighbour was buying their place, so asked me to find them a place in Richmond hill near their son. Our search started today, but not wanting them to travel 2 hrs just for showings, I created short videos to give them a feel for the places they wanted to see: we are going old school with this transaction, no digital signatures, everything will be done in person, once we find their new home.
