Interest rates are THE MOST boring topic I’ve ever encountered in real estate 😒
As a buyer’s agent, I deal with listing agents that try to warp reality into how it suits them ⚠️
🚩 BEFORE SEP 17: Calls at 1130PM saying “Buy this house before the rate announcement because interest rates are going up!!!”
🚩 ON SEP 17: Calls saying “Well now its better for your client so put an offer in NOW!!”
👀 Does this make you want to buy the house more or less?
Anyway, how much cheaper is it really for my client? 🧐
700k home, $3,322 -> $3,221/mo = payments are $101/mo lower 💸
Over $1200 in savings annually for you variable rate holders 🥳
The way other agents conduct themselves isn’t something I can control BUT…
Anyone looking to sell their house should see how they communicate with other interested clients / agents! 🏡
✅ Staying top of mind is important
❌ But don’t bother people in the middle of the night to do it
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll play the game for my clients no matter what kind of agent I have to endure 👹
I can be fiery when it matters but being cordial and professional gets you much farther than being pushy 🔥
