The minimum standard you deserve as a seller….
Some things shouldn’t be considered bonuses, they should be the baseline.

1. Professional photography and media. This is a hill I will die on. If your realtor is taking your listing photos with an iPhone or a canon camera from 2006…. 🚩
2. A social media presence. Not being on social media is a marketing strategy… it’s just not a good one.
3. Regular communication and updates after the sign goes in the ground. It’s not uncommon for an agent to list a property and then be silent unless an inquiry pops up or the seller is asking for an update. Weekly updates on how your home is performing is the minimum.
4. Honesty about your property. The agent that tells you what you want to hear to win the work isn’t the one that’s going to sell your home.
5. The commission discounter. How do you expect your realtor to negotiate the best terms for you during an offer if they can’t sit across from you and negotiate their worth?…. Food for thought.

The list could be much longer- the moral of the story is really think about the bigger picture when you’re choosing who to trust one of your biggest financial moves with.

This is one of those moments that never gets old.
Handing the keys over to a family and seeing it all come together — the searching, the decisions, the “does this feel like home?” conversations — and then watching them stand in front of a place that’s now truly theirs.

This is the part of real estate I love most. Not the paperwork, not the negotiations… but the people. The stories. The new chapters that start the moment a house becomes a home.

Grateful to do what I do, for the families who trust me with it, and for every small moment like this that reminds me why it’s worth it. 🏡
