2nd Annual Leaves & Loaves Food Drive 🥫🍂

For the second year in a row, we are looking to support the local Good Neighbours Food Bank and we would appreciate your help! We are hoping to collect non-perishable food items after Thanksgiving to help the food bank prepare for Christmas.

If you would like to donate, please see below for the donation options:

1️⃣ Pick Up Collection:
▪️ Monday October 19th & Tuesday October 20th
▪️ Pick up between 2PM - 6PM
▪️ Contact Joey Abrams (by email or phone) with your name and address to schedule the pick up

OR

2️⃣ Office Drop Off:
▪️ Wednesday October 21st & Thursday October 22nd
▪️ Drop off your items at the Royal LePage Performance Realty office in Russell anytime between 2PM - 6PM

📈 August 2026 Market Update

The August 2026 report shows a mixed Ottawa real estate market, with prices holding relatively steady in detached homes while townhouses and condos continue to face more downward pressure.

🏡 Detached homes: Average price was $919,620, up 0.3% from August 2025. However, sales volume fell 16.1%, with 371 units sold.

🏘️ Row houses: Average price was $582,984, down 4.9%, while unit sales declined 20.9% to 201.

🏢 Condo apartments: Average price was $433,016, up 6.1%, but sales dropped significantly, down 25.3% to 121 units.

The market is showing a clear gap between price resilience and sales activity. Detached properties remain comparatively strong, while row houses and especially condos are experiencing substantially lower transaction volumes. This suggests buyers have more negotiating power and sellers may need to be more strategic on pricing and marketing.
