14 years ago, I came to Canada for what was supposed to be a 6-month English course😅
Somehow, those 6 months turned into 14 years, a whole life, a son, a career, and a version of me that my younger self wouldn’t even recognize (in a good way).
It hasn’t been easy. There were moments I had no idea what I was doing, missed home like crazy, and questioned everything.
And in between all of that, I found incredible people, built lifelong friendships, created memories I’ll never forget, and got opportunities I once only dreamed about.
I’m so, so grateful for everything this country has given me 🙏🏻🇨🇦
