๐Ÿ“Š Niagara Market Update โ€“ May 2026

The spring market continued to heat up in May, with prices, sales, and buyer activity all moving in the right direction.

๐Ÿก The average sale price jumped from $633,000 in April to $679,000 in May.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Median sale price also increased from $570,000 to $615,000, showing that price growth wasnโ€™t just driven by a few higher-end sales.

๐Ÿ”‘ Sales increased from 580 to 598, while new listings climbed from 1,648 to 1,686.

โณ Homes are selling a bit faster too, with average days on market dropping from 48 days to 42.

That said, inventory remains strong with 3,453 active listings across Niagara, meaning buyers still have plenty of options and sellers still need to be strategic with their pricing.

The biggest takeaway? The spring market bounce is continuing, but itโ€™s important not to assume every home will sell itself. Well-priced homes are attracting attention, while overpriced homes are still sitting.
