The heaven's gate opened on January 5th 2024 and received my dad at the age of 82. He was strong and fought a long term illness since 2016.

I will miss my dad, he was kind, loving, funny and loved all his children. He gave me great advice in many areas of life especially when it came to finances. Above all, the greatest valuable gift my dad gave to me was Self-esteem, a gift that can't be bought with any amount of money. Who I am today, is a direct result of how my dad raised me.

To all father figures,, always instil self-esteem on your little girls, they will need it to survive through life and it's challenges!

I was at peace when I visited my dad last year summer and saw him remember to say a prayer before eating his meals even when at the point where his memory was no longer fully there. I also had the opportunity to spend the last 3 days of his life by his hospital bed. Dad will be put to rest on Friday January 12th 2024 in Meru Kenya. It is well with my soul.

Rest in Peace dad!! You will be truly missed. Love you
