🏡 One thing I’ve learned after 9 years in real estate…

People don’t hire me because I know how to fill out paperwork.

They hire me because buying or selling a home is a big deal, and they want someone who will tell them the truth.

Sometimes that means:

✔️ “I think you’re overpriced.”
✔️ “I’d wait a few weeks before listing.”
✔️ “Here’s what it’s going to take to win this offer.”

My job isn’t to tell people what they want to hear.

My job is to help them make the best decision for their family.

🏡 Another one complete.

Less than a year ago, people told me I was crazy.

“Don’t start a build in the winter.”

“The market is too uncertain.”

“Construction is too risky.”

“Stick to real estate.”

The truth is there were days I questioned it myself.

There were delays, problems, cost increases, stress, and plenty of moments where things didn’t go according to plan.

But every challenge taught me something.

Today, this is the third home we’ve completed in less than a year.

Not because everything went perfectly.

Because we kept moving forward anyway.

One thing I’ve learned in life is that every time someone tells me I can’t do something, it gives me even more determination to prove them wrong.

At EY Properties Group we take pride in the details. From the foundation to the final trim, every project teaches us something new and helps us improve for the next one.

The craziest part?

We’ve already started two more.

Five homes in roughly a year.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us, believed in us, worked alongside us, and trusted us with their projects.

One of the biggest mistakes I see buyers make is waiting until they find the perfect house before talking to a lender.

The reality is, the best time to get pre-approved is before you start looking.

Knowing your numbers gives you confidence, saves time, and helps you move quickly when the right property comes along.

I’ve seen great homes come and go because buyers weren’t prepared.

Another project moving ahead. 👊

Backfill and rough-in plumbing underway as we keep this build moving forward.

One thing people don’t always see is how much work happens before the framing, kitchens, and finished spaces. The foundation and groundwork are where everything starts, and getting these stages done right matters.

While one project is getting finishing touches, another one is already rolling full speed ahead. Grateful for the opportunity to keep building and working with great people every day. 🔨🏡

Busy Monday already. 🏡🔨

Inspections, client meetings, job sites, materials, and trying to keep multiple projects moving at once.

One thing I’m grateful for is the amount of people continuing to trust me with both real estate and construction projects. Never take it for granted.

Another piece coming together on this build. 🔨

Framing up a 12’ x 22’ covered deck on the back of this home and it’s going to completely transform the space once finished.

These are the details I really enjoy during a build process. Watching everything start from an idea and slowly come together stage by stage.

We’ve got multiple projects moving right now and it’s been nonstop lately, but I’m grateful for the work, the people around me, and the opportunity to keep building.

Still lots to do on this one but excited to keep pushing forward. 👊

Sometimes the right conversation at the right time can completely change someone’s future.

A few weeks ago I got a call from a young guy I’ve known since he was a kid. He told me he was tired of renting and finally wanted a place to call his own.

Fast forward from that first conversation to now… this home is officially SOLD. 👏🏡

This is exactly why having the right people around you matters. Real estate isn’t just about opening doors and writing offers. It’s about guidance, honesty, strategy, and helping people make confident decisions during one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
