Busy Monday morning already. 💪

5:00 AM gym ✔️

Kids off to school ✔️

Dump run ✔️

Then over to one of our commercial clients to install a couple of steel doors.

Some days are real estate. Some days are construction. Some days are development.

That’s the part I enjoy the most no two days are ever the same.

Grateful for the clients and relationships we’ve built over the years that allow us to stay busy doing what we love.

9 years!

Since then, it’s been a journey I never could have imagined.

What started as helping people buy and sell homes has grown into something much bigger. Today, through EY Properties, I’m fortunate to work with clients across real estate, construction, renovations, development, and investment projects throughout Greater Saint John.

I’ve had the opportunity to help hundreds of families make moves, build homes, renovate properties, create wealth, and achieve goals that once felt out of reach.

To every client, friend, referral partner, contractor, lawyer, banker, and supporter who has trusted me along the way thank you.

The best part? I still feel like we’re just getting started.

🔨 Another project wrapped up and another happy client.

This front entrance had seen better days. The existing structure was weathered, tired, and starting to show its age.

Our team removed the old deck, rebuilt the entire entrance, installed new railings with black aluminum pickets, and gave the front of this home a completely refreshed look.

One thing we’re really proud of at EY Properties is being able to fit projects like this in between our larger builds and developments. Whether it’s a custom home, a renovation, a deck, flooring, siding, or a kitchen upgrade, we approach every project the same way attention to detail and quality workmanship.

The best part?

The homeowner absolutely loved the finished result.

Most real estate agents have never built a house.

Most have never pulled permits, managed trades, priced renovations, poured foundations, framed walls, dealt with inspections, or worried about construction budgets.

I have.

Real estate has been my career for the last 8 years, but construction has become a huge part of my life as well.

Today, EY Properties Group isn’t just a real estate company. We also operate a full construction division, completing renovations, decks, additions, new construction projects, and custom builds throughout the Saint John area.

Why does that matter?

Because when I’m helping a buyer evaluate a property, I’m not just looking at square footage and finishes.

I’m looking at structure.
I’m looking at quality.
I’m looking at potential costs.
I’m looking at opportunities.

When I’m helping a seller, I can often identify improvements that will actually increase value before the home hits the market.

Over the last year alone we’ve completed multiple new home builds and have several more projects already underway.

Sometimes the best projects aren’t the biggest ones. They’re the ones that make a home feel like home again.

A client reached out after a large apartment building was constructed behind her property. She loved her backyard, but suddenly felt like she had lost a lot of privacy.

After discussing some options, we designed and built this custom privacy deck and screen wall to give her outdoor space that private feeling back.

Simple project.
Big difference.

One thing I’ve learned through construction and real estate is that every homeowner’s situation is different. Sometimes it’s a new build, sometimes it’s a renovation, and sometimes it’s solving a problem that’s affecting how you enjoy your property.

Really happy with how this one turned out.

People don’t hire me because I know how to fill out paperwork.

They hire me because buying or selling a home is a big deal, and they want someone who will tell them the truth.

Sometimes that means:
✔️ “This isn’t the right house.”
✔️ “I think you’re overpriced.”
✔️ “I’d wait a few weeks before listing.”
✔️ “Here’s what it’s going to take to win this offer.”

My job isn’t to tell people what they want to hear.

My job is to help them make the best decision for their family.

🏡 Another one complete.

Less than a year ago, people told me I was crazy.

“Don’t start a build in the winter.”

“The market is too uncertain.”

“Construction is too risky.”

“Stick to real estate.”

The truth is there were days I questioned it myself.

There were delays, problems, cost increases, stress, and plenty of moments where things didn’t go according to plan.

But every challenge taught me something.

Today, this is the third home we’ve completed in less than a year.

Not because everything went perfectly.

Because we kept moving forward anyway.

One thing I’ve learned in life is that every time someone tells me I can’t do something, it gives me even more determination to prove them wrong.

At EY Properties Group we take pride in the details. From the foundation to the final trim, every project teaches us something new and helps us improve for the next one.

The craziest part?

We’ve already started two more.

Five homes in roughly a year.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us, believed in us, worked alongside us, and trusted us with their projects.

One of the biggest mistakes I see buyers make is waiting until they find the perfect house before talking to a lender.

The reality is, the best time to get pre-approved is before you start looking.

Knowing your numbers gives you confidence, saves time, and helps you move quickly when the right property comes along.

I’ve seen great homes come and go because buyers weren’t prepared.
