She wouldn't let us past the door.
The first few times I showed up, we stood on the porch and talked. She had 30 years of life inside those walls — repairs that hadn't been done, things she didn't know what to do with — and she wasn't ready to let anyone in yet.
She didn't need a real estate agent first. She needed someone she could trust.
So Shannon kept showing up. No pressure. No judgment. We helped her sort through what she wanted to keep, what she could let go of, and what life on the other side could actually look like.
We hit the market end of May.
And I'm not going to sugarcoat it — it was hard. Several offers came in that just couldn't work. Impossible conditions, unworkable terms. Every single one took everything we had to work through.

The relief I felt for her — I honestly can't describe Our youngest team member put up the SOLD sign while Shannon and Brittni showed up with a little treat to celebrate.
And yes. There were tears. Happy ones. 🥹
This is the part of real estate that never makes the highlight reel. But it's the part I love most.
