I’m excited to share this fantastic property just minutes from St. Stephen. Everyones always asking for a garage well heres 2.

If you've been looking for privacy without sacrificing convenience, this 4.1-acre property at 596 Mohannes Road is a must-see! This home is only about 20 years old and would make a cozy family home. With an open concept kitchen and dining area with 2 full bathrooms, one on the main floor and one in the partially finished basement along with a large bedroom in the basement which could easily be split into two bedrooms. A massive oversized garage with high ceilings and automatic openers—built just 10-12 years ago. Perfect for a home business, mechanic, or storing all the toys! Over 4 acres of private, treed land for you to roam, plus an additional older garage for extra storage. Location: Just a few miles from the St. Croix River for swimming, boating, and fishing. This is a rare find in today’s market. Did you know St. Andrews is building a food forest that will be free to everyone! I had the pleasure of chatting with these fine folks at a seed swap the other week. Its such a great initiative and I have been trying to spread the word as much as I can about this place! They are looking for volunteers tomorrow morning and I am sure they will need people moving forward as well should anyone want to help. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61579433205467

Ripping out old fiberglass and wood strapping isn't glamorous, but the result sure is!

We recently tackled a ceiling project that was about much more than just a fresh look. By removing the old fiberglass tiles and wood strapping, we gained access to the cavity above our main entrance.

The floor in the room above the entry was always freezing a common hidden issue in many homes.
The Solution: While the ceiling was open, we packed in high-efficiency insulation before installing these new, modern vinyl tiles.

Why we chose Vinyl over Drywall:

1. The Height Factor: Our ceilings are quite high; vinyl tiles allowed for a high-end look without the logistics and mess of hanging, taping, and sanding heavy drywall overhead.
2. Future Access. Unlike drywall, we still have easy access to the plumbing and electrical if we ever need it.
3.A warmer floor upstairs, a more efficient home, and a sleek, bright entrance.

Seeing this transformation reminds me why I love what I do helping homeowners see the hidden potential in every room.

What do you think of this vinyl upgrade? Let me know in the comments!

I’m rambling off the beaten path today to talk about something near and dear to my heart: Community Self-Sufficiency.

This weekend I am hosting my first ever homestead swap. If you’re like me, you might have an accidental surplus of apothocary creations, heirloom seeds, salves, balms, dehydrated goods and homemade cleaners to name a few. Instead of letting it go to waste, let’s swap!

How it works:

Join the Inner Circle: Comment below to join my private group and meet like-minded neighbors.

The 6-Person Rule: We keep it intimate. Each swap consists of 5 guests + the host (6 total).

The Exchange: You make 6 units of your specialty (e.g., 6 jars of salve).

The "Ramble": We’ll gather for coffee, chat about our latest projects (I'll probably show off my new face-painting case or my ceiling dust!), and swap stories.

The Result: You leave with a basket of 6 different, handmade, healthy, and clean products for your home.

No cost, no sales pitch, just neighbors helping neighbors. Whether you have 50 acres or three pots on a balcony, you’re a homesteader to me.

Comment 'SWAP' below and I will bring you into the group!
P.S. I had a cancelation for saturday if anyone is interested

Calling all DIYers, investors & HGTV day-dreamers

I’ve built a TLC Homes List — properties that might need some love, updates, or just a solid vision.

What you’ll find:
• True fixer-uppers
• Handyman specials
• Hidden gems
• And the odd luxury home that said “handyman” once in the garage description

Quick disclaimer:
This list is pulled by keywords, so not every home is a complete project — but every home has potential.

Tap the link to sign up and see what’s available.
