It’s funny how a single photograph can remind you of things you were too young to understand at the time.
Looking at this now, I see a little boy who had no idea just how lucky he was. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate more and more what an incredible gift it was to have you as my mum.
There isn’t a better mother in this world.
You gave me so much more than a wonderful life—you gave me your love, your patience, your guidance, your unwavering support, and the confidence to become the man I am today. I truly wouldn’t be who I am without you.
The older I get, the more I realize that the greatest gift of my childhood wasn’t everything we had... it was you.
When I think about my childhood, I don’t remember the things we had nearly as much as I remember how you made me feel. Safe. Loved. Encouraged. Believed in.
Thank you for every hug, every lesson, every sacrifice, and for always being my biggest supporter. We really have lived such a charmed life together, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.
You’re one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever known, both inside and out.
