Was a busy weekend in the neighbourhood with the annual Show and Shine! Did you attend? Which was your favourite?!

The annual Show and Shine took place over the weekend and saw an estimated 60,000 plus people walking through the Downtown district. Over 50 food vendors and hundreds of antique, classic, and modern vehicles lined the district's streets.

Originally beginning in 1982 on 8th Street, Show & Shine has evolved into one of our city's most attended festivals of the year and into the biggest car show in Western Canada.

It’s amazing to see our Downtown so full of life, excitement, people, and joy during this event and the many others that take place. Ukrainian Day in the Park is just around the corner on Aug 24th with the Fire Works Festival on Aug 30 + 31st.
