GTA REAL ESTATE UPDATE APRIL 2026
The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board just released its April numbers, and here's what every buyer, seller, and investor needs to know:
Average Selling Price: $1,051,969
↘ Down 4.9% from April 2025 ($1,106,505)
📈 Home Sales: 5,946 — up 7% year-over-year
📋 New Listings: 17,097 — down 9.3% YoY
⚖️ Sales-to-Listings Ratio: 35% (buyers still hold leverage)
Price breakdown by property type:
🔵 Detached: $1,372,688
🔵 Semi-Detached: $1,033,469
🔵 Townhouse: $839,509
🔵 Condo: $635,653
