The 2026 Shuswap Lake salmon run is a major event because this is a “dominant” cycle year, meaning millions of brilliant red sockeye salmon are returning to the Adams River to spawn. The best place to witness this world-famous spectacle is at Tsútswecw Provincial Park. The peak viewing window takes place during the second and third weeks of October. We are located minutes away from the mouth of the Adam’s River that feeds into Shuswap Lake. We are situated in a prime location for this year’s salmon run. We have a buoy that is optional with your stay with us making it very convenient to fish daily. We have an outdoor kitchen that you can clean your catches with a fridge to freeze your fish. We had some fabulous guests over the last week stay with here at Shuswap Cozy Cove. Fire ban on but we supplied a propane fire pit for the family to enjoy roasting marshmallows and keeping cozy warm in the late evenings! I mean just look at these pictures from our guest! Beautiful beaches, beautiful waterfalls. What more could you want! This family was extremely happy with their accommodations and all the amenities on the property and around Shuswap Lake! We have lots of great dates still available for you and your family and we’re pet friendly so bring Fido!
