La Ville de Shediac est heureuse d’annoncer que l’artiste Allie Howe est de retour cette année pour redonner tout son éclat à notre emblématique Homard géant.

À la suite de l’entente signée l’an dernier, M. Howe continue d’assurer l’entretien de cette icône reconnue mondialement. Fort de plus de 30 ans d’expérience, il a notamment réalisé plusieurs murales dans la région de Miramichi, dont celle des célébrations de Kraft Hockeyville à Renous en 2019.

🦞 Chaque année, cette étape est essentielle pour préserver la structure du célèbre homard, tout en s'assurant qu'il demeure aussi impressionnant et accueillant pour les visiteurs. Merci de votre patience durant cette courte période de rafraîchissement – le Gros Homard sera bientôt prêt à prendre la pose pour vos plus belles photos de vacances!

👀 Have you seen the start of the Big Lobster makeover?

The Town of Shediac is pleased to announce that artist Allie Howe is back this year to restore our iconic Giant Lobster to its former glory.

Following the agreement signed last year, Mr. Howe continues to maintain this world-renowned icon. With over 30 years' experience, he has created several murals in the Miramichi region, including one for the Kraft Hockeyville celebrations in Renous in 2019.

🦞 Each year, this step is essential to preserve the structure of the famous big lobster, while ensuring that it remains as impressive and welcoming to visitors as ever. Thank you for your patience during this short period of refurbishment - the Big Lobster will soon be ready to pose for your best vacation photos!
