HNHC Board Member Opportunity

Haldimand Norfolk Housing Corporation is accepting applications from Haldimand County residents interested in serving on our Board of Directors.

HNHC’s eight-member Board is structured to provide equal representation from Haldimand County and Norfolk County. This current vacancy is for one of the Haldimand County positions, which is why applicants must reside in Haldimand.

We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives who are interested in supporting quality affordable housing in our communities.

The Board normally meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in Simcoe. There are no regular meetings in July or August.

To be considered for the current vacancy, applications must be submitted by Friday, August 28, 2026.

Celebrating a major milestone in Delhi

Despite the snowfall, HNHC Board and staff, Norfolk County Council and staff, our development and community partners, and representatives from MPP Bobbi Ann Brady’s office came together this morning to break ground on a new 25-unit mixed-income housing development at 686 Gibraltar Street.

It was great to hear remarks from community and government partners as we marked this exciting step forward for Delhi.

This project will deliver 10 rent-geared-to-income units and 15 affordable units, along with supportive housing in partnership with the Norfolk Association for Community Living.

A great day for collaboration, community, and continued progress in expanding housing options in Norfolk County.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of our growing capital program and help shape the long-term sustainability of our housing portfolio.

This is more than a traditional project management role. You will play a key part in translating long-range asset planning into real, on-the-ground improvements to occupied residential buildings—while working closely with an experienced Director of Development & Technical Services and gaining exposure to building systems, asset management, procurement governance, and tenant-centered project delivery.

This role is ideal for a project professional who wants to grow into a senior technical leadership role.
