A licensed REALTOR® since 1979, Marianne has been among the top 5 Real Estate agents in Squamish since 1990 and since 2000 the number one realtor for Royal LePage Black Tusk Realty*. Her family (Mortensen) moved to Squamish in 1962 where she grew up enjoying all the outdoor activities that the Sea to Sky corridor had to offer (mostly skiing, swimming and hiking). In 1984 she and husband, Van, moved from Whistler to Squamish for all the things she had enjoyed in Squamish during her youth- a healthy, safe and clean environment for raising children. Their 3 children have enjoyed excellent schooling and are all avid soccer players, dirt bikers, snowmobilers & snowboarders. In 1987 Marianne joined Black Tusk Realty, now Royal LePage Black Tusk Realty, and has never looked back. The market place is one she is familiar with and is very proud to call home. As she often says “Squamish sells itself, I just have to introduce you to it”. Marianne believes the health of a community requires input and involvement from its residents. Marianne has been a part of:
