Buyer's Roadmap: Are you paying for the right things?

When buyers look at homes, it's easy to fall in love with the finishes. A new kitchen. New floors. A beautifully updated bathroom.

But here's what to remember: By the time you sell, those finishes will be used. You're paying for "new" but selling "used."

On the flip side, location is often undervalued. Is there new development coming nearby that could block your view or sunlight? That's a negative. Are new amenities going in that will make the area more desirable? That's a win.

Finishes can be updated. Location can't.
