This morning as I was driving to the gym, a beautiful clear day, the light hitting just like August 21, 2003 when I was Watching my brand new baby boy being flown away in a helicopter without me to get to B.C. Childrens. Time is a funny thing - where it can feel like so long along ago but yesterday at the same time. Regardless it’s hard to believe it was 23 years ago. Happy Birthday to my amazing son! We are so proud of you and how far you have come. It’s strange we aren’t living in the same city and aren’t together today but I know you are happy and thriving and that’s all that matters. Have an amazing day and I love you so much! ❤️
