It’s hard to believe that it has been a year today since our first sale went through! Over 2 dozen sales were completed in about 2 weeks - it was a very busy time for all of us. Our buyers were patient during this time, as we completed the final stages of The Wilfred. We would like to thank them for supporting us and hope that they are enjoying their new homes and/or commercial spaces.
This will be our last post, so we would like to express our gratitude to our followers who continually gave us encouragement throughout the entire building process. We have received amazing feedback and are extremely proud of the finished product!
This was a very personal journey for us as this is a legacy project for our father, Wilfred Dowad. Wilf loved Squamish - he was involved in many developments within the community and was instrumental in getting many initiatives off the ground. He was a community minded man, who felt that owning a home should be a right not a privilege. Our Dad, who would have celebrated his 99th birthday today, would be very surprised with how things are in 2024!
