Starting October 1, Newfoundland & Labrador is expanding two programs that could help homeowners with the cost of essential repairs and accessibility upgrades.

🔨 Home Repair Program
Eligible homeowners may qualify for up to $10,000 in forgivable assistance ($13,000 in Labrador) for essential home repairs.

♿ Home Modification Program
Eligible homeowners who need accessibility modifications may qualify for up to $15,000 in forgivable assistance.

Eligibility requirements apply, but for the right household, this could make a meaningful difference.

Applications for the expanded programs open October 1, 2026 through Newfoundland & Labrador Housing.

If you know someone who could benefit, especially a parent, grandparent, or homeowner trying to stay comfortably in their home, send this to them.
