Sweet Haven at St. Laurent

Sweet Haven is 45mins away from Winnipeg! It's cabin life ready and is simply waiting for you!

07/13/2026

Hi everyone,

We are grateful for those who reached out about staying at Sweet Haven. As we are still at a hiatus in accepting cabin rentals, we want to share a sneak peak of what our family has been up to.

For this summer season, we are simply spending majority of our time at Sweet Haven doing the following:
1. Making every day a lazy day🧘‍♀️🍃
2. Creating strawberry dipped chocolates 🍓 🍫
3. Listening to the waves and birds by the water 🌊
4. Swimming and tanning at Twin Lakes Beach 👙☀️
5. Overall enjoying the cabin life that the city cannot offer 🏡🏝️

We hope everyone is spending the most out of the summer as this season is flying by so fast! Stay hydrated and 'til next time! 😎🍉⛱️

The Sweet Haven Family would like to thank all our renters and cabin goers this Summer 2025. As this page have not been as active this year due to competing priorities, we are very grateful for all those who reached out and supported us this past summer. 💖🥰

As we now close for the incoming colder seasons 🍁☃️, we wish everyone a great rest of their year!

🏡 Sweet Haven at St. Laurent looks forward into being part of the fun and memories of our cabin goers for Summer 2026. ✨

So for now:

Today, we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to reflect on the painful legacy of residential schools in Canada. It’s a time to honor the lives lost and the resilience of survivors and their families.
As we acknowledge this history, let us commit to learning, listening, and engaging in meaningful conversations. Together, we can contribute to a future rooted in understanding, respect, and healing.
Let’s take a moment to remember and support Indigenous communities as we work towards reconciliation.
