🏡 DEMAND FOR LAC DU BONNET WATERFRONT PROPERTIES CONTINUES TO SURGE 📈
Part 2 (for Part 1 see the comments)
A Market Balancing Optimism and Reality
The resilience of the local market reflects a broader balancing act, according to John Angus Realty. On one hand, buyers and sellers are navigating a more complex economic environment. On the other, the fundamentals — location, lifestyle, and limited supply of prime properties — continue to support strong activity.
“There’s always going to be external factors,” says owner Cam Harland. “But here, the demand is still there. It feels like it’s shaping up to be a good year.”
As summer arrives the seasonal uptick in listings is expected to follow. For many in the region, that signals the real start of the buying season.
A Tight-Knit Business Rooted in the Community
At John Angus Realty, the business itself is evolving in ways that reflect the close-knit nature of the Lac du Bonnet community. Harland notes that his daughter Kathleen has stepped into a key role within the office to assist Harland and broker Kevin Edwards.
“She’s taken over the administrative side: bookkeeping, operations, everything,” Harland says. “She’s been at it for nearly two years now and has a very good handle on it.”
Having grown up in the area, Kathleen brings both professional capability and local insight to the role, an asset in a market where relationships and community knowledge matter.
“It’s important to have that local connection,” Harland says. “This is a tight-knit place, and that familiarity goes a long way.”
