NIAGARA, NEEDS HELP!
The flooding across Niagara has left many of our neighbours dealing with flooded basements, damaged belongings, cleanup, repairs and a lot of uncertainty about what comes next.
But something else has become very clear:
Our community is showing up.
- Volunteers are already out helping with cleanup.
- Neighbours are checking on neighbours.
- Local contractors and businesses are stepping forward, with some offering reduced rates and additional support to those affected.
- Community organizations and municipalities are working to connect residents with available resources.
If you have been impacted by the flooding, please don’t assume you have to figure everything out on your own.
I’ve added the Niagara Flood Support + Recovery Resources to the Linktree in my bio so they are easy to find and share.
The resource page includes information for communities throughout Niagara, as well as links to cleanup assistance, municipal programs, waste disposal information, insurance resources and other available supports.
Outside of Niagara?
The provincial Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians program may provide assistance when it has been activated for a specific affected area.
You can also contact 211 Ontario online or by phone from anywhere in the province to be connected with local community, emergency, housing, food and financial supports.
And if you’re not sure where to start, call or text me anytime.
I may not personally have all the answers, but I am more than happy to help you look for the right resource or point you in the right direction.

If you are a local contractor, business, volunteer group or organization offering assistance, reduced rates, cleanup help or other resources to people affected by the flooding, please comment below or send me a message.
And if you know of another legitimate relief program or resource that should be shared, send it my way so I can add it.
Let’s use our platforms for something that matter right now!
If you need help, ask.
If you can help, speak up.
