Getting to be a SuperHost is one thing.....maintaining it for 3.5 years concurrently is another feat altogether!
As an Airbnb SuperHost Ambassador, I see new hosts coming on board every day who are so unprepared for hosting!
It truly takes a team, and I want to acknowledge that I have the best team of cleaners a host could ask for, helping me with my local listings!

Sharing a glimpse into some of the messages I receive with my Holly’s ❤️ Homes.

This morning it was a 2 week booking request from a new guest, who shared her husband’s cancer has returned.

I read the following message:

“I just want to say that Holly's Homes is a saviour for us. We have been travelling back and forth to Edmonton for my husband's cancer treatments for over 2 years now. We never even knew Holly's Homes exixted until last night. As seniors on a fixed income, this is a blessing”.

So much meaning behind each and every one of these requests!💕

My guests messaged me with this…..

“Hi Holly, my brother, niece and I are visiting our Dad who is ill with cancer at the Royal Alex Hospital.”

And then…..Hi Holly, we arrived at your home yesterday, it is great! Our Dad's condition is not great, we were to the hospital several times last night and our other older brother has flown in today to see him as well. Would it be possible to add another guest?

Me. I’m so glad your brother is able to be there! Yes, he can stay as well. Thanks for letting me know.”

Guest. “Would it be possible to book next week (as well) and end early if our Dad is moved to the cross center?
We are hoping he will be moved from royal alex to the cross for treatment next week, but we have not received a date.”

Me. “Yes, I understand completely.”

The week played out, and these guests checked out…..and I can’t help but wonder, what will this Christmas be like for this family?

These are the sacred snippets I’m privy to, as I manage the guests and the homes and all that goes into doing what Holly's Homes is all about.

This Christmas season, hug those you love a little tighter 💞
