Good morning everyone! Iām up and at āem, clearing my desk for our new season starting Tuesday!
Traditionally, the real estate market gets a boost of fresh, cool new air after Labour Day so if you have been thinking of making a move, timing is on your side!
I always suggest that Sellers interview 3 realtors when deciding on who will represent them and I know that there are many factors for you to consider. In all seriousness, one factor may be that your sisterās husbandās cousin is a realtor and you might have to list your home with them! You still should interview 3 realtors, maybe even more so.
An obvious question is commission rate. Of course you donāt want to pay any more than is fair. (And Iāll remind you that you donāt pay a penny until an acceptable price has been negotiated, the keys change hands and a successful transaction has been completed!)
There are a lot of questions that youāll need to know the answers to before moving day, though. A lot of work needs to de done by your realtor to get from initial interview to then.
Weāve all asked questions of professionals - notice how the top ones thoroughly and willingly answer all youāve got.
Have you ever been answered vaguely, incoherently or with little eye contact?
How about the āthat wonāt workā or ā we donāt do thatā response, leaving you dissatisfied and uneasy?
I donāt need to tell you to watch out for those in your interviews!
And keep in mind that selling your home can be stressful or confronting. Rarely do the buyers or their agents take your feelings into account when offering a price or critiquing your improvements. Ask yourself if the realtor youāre talking to is someone you want to be going through a potentially emotional experience with.
I would be honoured to be one of the 3 realtors you choose to interview when planning how to make your next phase of life become a reality.
Opinions of Value are free, confidential, no obligation. That is standard in the industry. Iāll add that mine are high in information with no hard sell or hard feelings attached if you choose another realtor.
And
Enthusiasm makes the difference! Experience matters!
I just want a chance to show you what I and Gallo Real Estate can do for you.
A good place to start is to check out my website for letters of reference from past clients. That would be great if you have a minute.
