The month of May saw some movement in the market. More houses sold and less days on market as well as a slight increase in prices.

While there seems to be a lot of listings on the market, 160 to be exact, as of May 31, it is still indicating a Sellers market. It is inching ever so slightly to a balanced market. What does a Sellers market look like? It is where the number of active listings is divided by the number of sales and it shows 3 months or less of inventory. The month of May was 3.3 months of inventory so still just slightly over the 3 months but not quite to the 4-6 month of inventory which creates the balanced market. A buyers market is more then 6 months of inventory. *What could be a Sellers market in the City of Stratford may not necessarily mean it’s a Sellers market in a different region or area. Each region/area has its own set of numbers and could vary.
