We honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and remember the children who never made it home.

Reconciliation also means continuing to learn — about the history of residential schools, the Treaties and lands we live on, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, and the lasting impacts that continue today.

It isn’t something that belongs only to the past, and it isn’t something that happens on just one day.

Today is a reminder to keep listening.
To keep learning.
To reflect.
And to honour.
