💚 Sometimes, the best part of a job happens before the cleaning even starts!

Yesterday’s workday started with coffee, a cinnamon bun, and a good old-fashioned gab session with one of my lovely senior clients.

An hour later, we’d caught up on life, shared some laughs, and eventually remembered that I had a house to clean! 😂

And honestly? These are the moments that make what we do so special.

At Green & Co Property Care, we’re not just here to make your home sparkle. We’re here to build relationships, earn the trust you give us in your home, lend a helping hand, and hopefully brighten a day or 2 along the way.

These are the moments that make building this business truly rewarding. Reminds me exactly why I left the corporate world to pursue my dream of starting my own business.

And if a little coffee and conversation happens along the way? Well, I think that’s time very well spent.

AND THAT’S A WRAP ON THIS WEEK’S CLEANS! It was busy busy for this one woman team (hence why I’m hiring - tell everyone you know! 😆)

The last clean is DONE, the supplies are packed away, and this girl is officially clocking out!

Now it’s time to relax and ignore the mountain of cleaning laundry I have to wash/dry/fold - and trade it in for a plate filled with turkey… and pretty much every carb I can get my hands on. 😂

I’ve earned the right to overeat this weekend and FYI - calories don’t count on Thanksgiving. You’re welcome 😉

The key to shiny floors is using the right cleaning product, the right dilution (READ your labels ALWAYS), clean equipment (don’t push around mud with a dirty mop head and water 🥴), and the right technique.

Green & Co Property Care is growing, and we’re looking to find a reliable, hardworking PT Professional to join the team.

What we’re looking for:
✨ Reliable and punctual — showing up matters!
✨ Strong attention to detail
✨ Takes pride in doing things properly, not just quickly
✨ Comfortable working independently
✨ Friendly, professional and respectful in clients’ homes & businesses
✨ Physically capable of being on your feet, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving constantly throughout the day
✨ Reliable transportation is preferred
✨ Cleaning experience is an asset, but will train for the right attitude and work ethic

The position:
🧹 Part-time to start
📍 Primarily Sundre & surrounding area
🗓️ Primarily weekday daytime hours with some evenings and/or weekends as needed
📈 Option to move to FT hours as the business continues to grow

📄 Resume required — please include your previous work experience (cleaning related or not) and your typical availability

📋 References required

😂 Friday PSA: Not all of our customers have two legs.

Some customers like to follow us around while we work, supervise every move we make, inspect our equipment, and occasionally get VERY close to the action.

Personal space? They’ve NEVER heard of it.

They don’t seem to care if we’re vacuuming, scrubbing, organizing or trying to get into a room — they’re there. Watching. Judging. And offering absolutely no assistance whatsoever. Haha

At Green & Co, we take our customer service & quality control VERY seriously. Even the 4 legged kind… and honestly it’s the best. Well….Sort of. Except for the wet slobbery drool all over my face - that I could do without 🤣 🐾

With gas hovering around $1.80/L, we’ve made the difficult decision to review our pricing…

The good news: Our rates are staying exactly the same.

The bad news: I’ve had to make a few cutbacks elsewhere.

As of today:

* The company vehicle has been replaced with a bike.

* Vacuums are now powered by aggressive optimism.

* And if your driveway is uphill… I’m respectfully asking you to postpone your cleanings until fuel prices come down. 😂 😉
