Under normal transactions, the Deposit is to be paid by the Buyers by bank draft within 24 hours after removal of subjects. The acceptable amount is within 4-5% of the contract amount. The Deposit will become part of the Buyers’ Downpayment at completion date.

Reminder: The deadline for declaring your property for the exemption of 2025 BC vacancy and speculation tax will be on March 31, 2026. For husband and wife, you have to declare individually. As long as it’s occupied, either owner-occupied, tenanted (for 6 months) or newly-purchased in 2025, you are most likely exempted from paying the tax. Select the right situation for you. Refer to the deflation letter you recently received this year.
