This client story started with a big life decision.

Jeff and Lisa were preparing to leave their Clayton home and start a completely new chapter in Southern Manitoba.

But before that could happen, everything needed to line up. They had moving cubes scheduled, utilities to cancel, strata details to handle and a timeline that had to work for their cross-country move.

In the early years I named my team The Bettina Reid Group. I wanted to build connection in an industry that often expects you to figure everything out alone.

Over time our team grew into something more meaningful. We became Balance Real Estate Group.
A collective of women bringing different strengths and perspectives so we could better support the families we serve.

That shift inspired what is now known as
The Balance Method.

Because moving is rarely just about square footage. It’s about life transitions… emotional readiness… and identity shifts.

My own midlife journey helped me see how heavy housing decisions can feel
when you’re also navigating hormonal changes, growing families or empty nest adjustments.
