We are absolutely loving the thoughtful, creative, and heartfelt acrostic poems our residents have created in honor of the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have touched their lives.

Each poem tells a unique story filled with love, gratitude, laughter, and cherished memories. Thank you to everyone who has shared their beautiful words with us!

Happy Seniors Week! 🌟

From June 1 to June 7, we are celebrating our residents and everything they have contributed to shaping our communities.

This week is also a moment to recognise everything they bring to Arbourside Court every single day. Their stories, their laughter, and the warmth that surrounds our community are something to be truly grateful for. It is a privilege to be part of their story.

The City of Surrey is also marking the week with a wonderful lineup of activities across the community, including a stroll through Darts Hill Garden Park, Power Walking in Bear Creek Park, the Kent Street Players Theatre at the Museum of Surrey, a live musical performance by the Cloverdale Silvertones Choir, a Coffee Break at Historic Stewart Farm, and a Garden Tea at South Surrey Recreation and Arts Centre to close out the week.

Every Wednesday at 2 p.m., Arbourside becomes a little cosier as Knitting Club brings residents together for a relaxing afternoon of stitches, stories, and good company.

There is something calming about sitting with neighbours, knitting needles in hand, letting the afternoon unfold at its own pace.

If you haven’t tried it yet, there is always a spot at the table. 😊
