The STATS are in! Here's what we saw in July....

The Fraser Valley market continues to create encouraging opportunities for buyers, with home prices becoming more accessible across all property types. The composite benchmark price declined to $877,600 in July, down 7% from last year. Buyers can now benefit from greater affordability, less competition and more time to carefully evaluate their options without the pressure of making rushed decisions.

With inventory still 32% above the 10-year seasonal average and the Fraser Valley remaining in a buyer’s market, qualified purchasers may have stronger negotiating power and more choice. Detached homes, townhomes and condos have all experienced year-over-year price reductions, presenting particularly attractive opportunities for first-time buyers, downsizers and anyone who may have previously felt priced out of the market.
