Turns out, making a mug from scratch is a lot harder than it looks!

There were uneven edges, clay-covered hands, a lot of concentration, plenty of laughs and somehow, by the end of the afternoon, everyone had made something that felt completely their own.

For this year’s Summer Social, we spent the afternoon getting our hands messy with clay at 4catsstudio, shaping our own mugs and painting them with designs completely made up along the way. 

More than anything, it was nice to put work aside for a few hours, sit around the same table, and simply enjoy making something together.

Our mugs are now off to be glazed and fired, and we’re very curious to see how they turn out 👀

🚧 Construction Update

Construction at LEVEL in Coquitlam continues to progress steadily, with significant milestones being achieved across both buildings as work advances throughout the project.

In the East Building, bathroom wall and floor tile installation is now complete, cabinetry and countertops have been installed, laminate flooring is underway, and elevator installation is officially in progress.

Meanwhile, the West Building is also advancing steadily, with bathroom wall and floor tile installation, primer painting across all levels, and architectural finish carpentry - including the installation of casings, baseboards and windowsills - all well underway.

Together, these milestones reflect continued momentum as the building progresses toward its final stages of completion!
