📊 Fraser Valley Market Update — August 2026

The Fraser Valley remains a buyer’s market, with slower sales and prices continuing to ease.

• 🏡 941 sales — down 14% from July
• 📋 2,373 new listings — down 16% from July
• 🔑 9,787 active listings — 33% above the 10-year average
• 📉 Benchmark price: $869,900 — down 7% from August 2025
• ⏳ Average days to sell: 45 days for detached & condos, 37 days for townhomes

Ishaq Ismail, Chair of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, described the market as a “tug-of-war between buyers and sellers,” with buyers having more room to negotiate while sellers may be more open to lower offers.

Anthony Boone, Interim CEO, noted that there are still “compelling choices hiding in plain sight,” with prices now as much as 15% lower than three years ago.
