David MacLeod, Realtor

David MacLeod, Realtor Welcome to my page. I'm ready to help you with selling your home or finding your new one. David and his wife Sandra live in the Mira area with their three dogs.

David grew up in an entrepreneurial family where he worked in a wholesale food distribution business at all levels of responsibility until he was in his forties. It was during those years that David, with his father, launched a commercial building rental business that continues to this day (Gwennel Holdings Ltd.). The wholesale food distribution business was sold to Co-op Atlantic in 2000 and Davi

d, with his family, moved to London, Ontario. David and his wife continued in business opening two Curves franchises and David launched a sales and marketing company representing manufacturers in the USA and Canada. Also at that time David was involved in Christian Business Ministries where he led entrepreneurial support groups throughout southwestern Ontario. In 2010 David and his wife moved back to Cape Breton and reset their lives afresh. He and his wife now own and operate Gwennel Holdings Ltd and David saw real estate sales as a natural progression to compliment his leasing and sales activities. David brings years of life and business experience to the real estate industry which naturally gives him skills such as problem solving, the ability to analyze and the ability to recognize good opportunities and potential issues. He is known for his conciliatory nature, integrity and his willingness to go the extra mile in his approach to sales. They have five adult children and nine grandchildren.

Some places aren’t just businesses — they’re part of a community’s identity.

The Doryman Pub & Grill is exactly that.

Recently renovated and exceptionally well kept, it stands as the heart of Cheticamp — a place where locals gather, music lives, and it truly feels like home.

Known for its strong Celtic roots and live performances, it’s more than a venue — it’s where culture is carried forward.
Now, it’s ready for its next chapter.

This is a rare opportunity to take over something meaningful — and continue a legacy that matters.
