Damian Paul was 27 years old, broke, and sitting in a parking lot in Calgary waiting on a Facebook Marketplace furniture deal that was probably not worth it.
He turned to his brother Jonas and said: why don't we just start a moving company?
Two seconds later he had a name. Manly Movers. Totally random. He has not changed it since.
That was 2021. From a crappy Wix website with 10 unread messages sitting in the inbox, to hundreds of five star reviews, multiple trucks, and one of the fastest growing moving brands in Alberta. Three brothers. One small city in Red Deer that most people outside of Alberta have never heard of. And a reputation built on premium service in a market full of chuck-in-a-truck operators who show up without uniforms.
