Quick trip to Edmonton on Saturday with Sam. Stopped at Pampa for lunch. Wow! What a meal! Places like this make it hard to choose between being fat & happy or getting in shape and trying to sell people on fitness for the rest of my days.

I forgot to mention the most important thing about my late night showing a few weeks ago. The home owner was so far behind on his financial responsibilities, that they cut utilities to the house. So there we were, 11:30 pm, in pitch black, no lights, walking around in a fully furnished, abandoned house, brandishing flashlights at any would be ghost or goblins. I'm thinking at least one neighbor called the authorities, but we were long gone before the long arm of the law showed up.

I put in a sign today, by the highway, pointing into Enchant. I don't often do this because most home shopping is done online these days. Some sellers still insist that signage is what sells their home. Any buyers out there leave a comment, do signs draw you in? Or are you online only?

Happy Canada day to all! No matter what side of the fence you're on with this independence thing, I think we can all appreciate what this country actually is. We're a mixture of farmers, business men and women, blue collar trades people, and everything in between. I don't know if another country on Earth has the natural beauty, natural resources and awesome people that we have. From coast to coast, we are a nation of resilience and neighborly people.
