Another week, another school trip. This time to Writing on Stone park. If you want to take your kids somewhere to run off some energy, this is the place. Watch out for snakes though. I didn't get a picture of the rattler but I got to shoo a bull snake off the road.

If I ever get into shape, just know it was so that you guys don't have to hear me breath heavy when I do some light walking in my videos. I'm starting to realize why all the elk elude me. If I'm breathing this heavy walking on level ground, I can't imagine what I must sound like hiking through the forest. Anyways, enough about me. Check out this house in Barnwell. We did our first field trip for the year again and once again hiked the Red Rock Canyon in Waterton. Once again, it did not disappoint. Always happy to return here and let the old thunder thighs chafe while hiking 10 kms, uphill both ways. Great group of kids to spend a day with.

Quick trip to Edmonton on Saturday with Sam. Stopped at Pampa for lunch. Wow! What a meal! Places like this make it hard to choose between being fat & happy or getting in shape and trying to sell people on fitness for the rest of my days.

I forgot to mention the most important thing about my late night showing a few weeks ago. The home owner was so far behind on his financial responsibilities, that they cut utilities to the house. So there we were, 11:30 pm, in pitch black, no lights, walking around in a fully furnished, abandoned house, brandishing flashlights at any would be ghost or goblins. I'm thinking at least one neighbor called the authorities, but we were long gone before the long arm of the law showed up.
