🌿 Mental Health Awareness and Workplace Burnout 🌿
Let's face it, property management is rewarding... and demanding. Burnout can build when the workload is constant and boundaries aren’t in place or don't feel respected. It's important that we talk about it and implement ways to manage burnout at any workplace.
Tips to help manage burnout at work:
✨ Set boundaries + communication hours
⏸️ Take regular breaks
📵 Use an after-hours emergency process so you can unplug
⚖️ Focus on balance, not just “pushing through” - It’s not about working harder—it’s about working sustainably
📝 Stay professional, document abusive messages, and escalate when needed
🤝 Seek support
🧠 Pay attention to early warning signs - Constant fatigue, irritability, or lack of motivation can be early warning signs
Burnout isn’t a personal failure—it’s a signal that something needs to change. Small, consistent adjustments make the biggest difference.
Let’s keep building respectful communities, for residents, boards, vendors and the people supporting them every day. 💚
