Cleaner – Residential Apartment Buildings
Here are some of the main activities and tasks that cleaners have to perform, and some of the physical demands they involve:
• Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as laundry rooms, elevator
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Position Requirements:

Able to work independently, is a self-starter, takes pride in a job well done and pays close attention to detail
Proven ability to work productively and safely while under pressure, with good time management
Previous cleaning experience is required
Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs and to work with industrial strength cleaners

Residential Building Cleaner - 4 buildings - set your own schedul

Duties

Gather and empty trash
Sweep, mop, shampoo & vacuum building floors
Clean all touch surfaces such as handles, laundry machines, entry doors
Wash windows, walls, and glass
Notify managers when a building needs repairs
Position Requirements:

Familiarity with Covid-19 guidelines.

Able to work independently, is a self-starter, takes pride in a job well done and pays close attention to detail
Proven ability to work productively and safely while under pressure, with good time management
Previous cleaning experience is required
Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs and to work with industrial strength cleaners

• Perform repairs to rental property as needed during occupancy of units.
• Perform cleaning & repairs to property in-between tenants- preparing property to be re-rented in good condition.
• Perform unit renovations & upgrades as directed
• Complete unit turnover check list on each vacancy
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of properties including but not limited to:
- - Painting, drywall repairs
- - Grass cutting, snow shoveling
- - Yard maintenance
- - Install laminate floor/trim
- - Minor plumbing ie change taps/toilets
- - Carpet shampooing
• Respond to emergency calls when directed by employer or office staff.
• Complete daily work record forms and job assignment sheets.
• Perform other duties as directed.
