I used to think package theft was something that happened somewhere else…. Unfortunately I was wrong. How frustrating and unsettling to realize how quickly something like this can happen right at your doorstep. With more online shopping than ever, porch Pirates are becoming a real issue – even in communities that feel safe. Maybe we need to think of how we can help mitigate or reduce some of this.

My sister and I took full advantage of the occasion to dress up—and we certainly weren’t alone. The hats, the dresses, the atmosphere… everything about the day felt elegant, vibrant, and just a little bit indulgent.

May showers brought spring flowers.

Out for a morning walk and these blooms stopped us. A Rhododendron in full bloom. No rush – just color, texture and a reminder to slow down and enjoy and appreciate. Nature is just beautiful.
