Ontario is expanding the HST rebate program, potentially saving eligible buyers up to $130,000 on qualifying new homes.

✔️ Applies to new construction & pre-construction homes
✔️ Full 13% HST relief on eligible homes up to $1.5M
✔️ Reduced rebate available up to $1.85M
✔️ Available for eligible purchases between April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027
✔️ Can apply to primary residences and rental properties

The goal is to make homeownership more affordable, stimulate new housing construction, and create more opportunities for buyers to enter the market.

This could be one of the biggest incentives we’ve seen for new home buyers in years. 👀

Here’s a simple example of why investors are choosing Dubai:

A property around 1.2M AED renting for approximately 96K AED annually can achieve close to an 8% gross yield, translating to about 6–7% net after expenses.

In many major cities, investors are happy with 3–4% returns before taxes.

On top of that, Dubai offers no property tax, no capital gains tax, and no personal income tax, supported by strong rental demand from residents and international tenants.
