I need 6 incredible women. On Wednesday August 12, I’ll be rolling up my sleeves and getting a bit dirty alongside an amazing group of women for Habitat for Humanity’s She’s Crafty Women’s Build Day, and I’d love for you to join us.

Imagine spending one day doing work that helps a family get a roof over their heads. One day and you get to make massive impact. No construction experience is needed! Woot!

I’ve got room for 6 more women on our team, and I would love to fill every spot with women who believe that when we come together, we damn well change lives.

On Thursday, April 30th, 2026 in downtown Toronto, Mike and I will be participating in Covenant House’s 13th Annual Sleep Out: Champions Edition - a powerful movement led by people who believe that no young person should experience homelessness or s*x trafficking. And….big news! Multiple Juno award-winning singer and one of Canada’s Walk of Fame inductees Jully Black is the Keynote Speaker for the evening!

We will hear directly from young people, deepen their understanding of the issues they face, and take part in an immersive experience - sleeping outside for the night with only a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard.

Mike and I have supported Covenant House for decades, but have never done a Sleep Out, and wanted to challenge ourselves to support them in a new way. Our purpose as Real Estate Investors is to help in ending homelessness for Youth and also our Veterans.

We’d love for you to join us for this impactful, important evening! The Covenant House is asking that each of us commit to raising $2,000, helping them continue to provide life-changing care and support to youth every day.

Event Details

Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026
Location: Toronto Metropolitan University
Time: approx 630pm (until 530am May 1st) including dinner & media interviews
What: Raise a minimum of $2,000 toward their collective goal of $550,000
Who: 125 professionals and community leaders from Toronto and the GTA
