There are some factors that are less obvious (than price) but just as important when determining "good valueā as youāre home hunting.
With houses, there are three major pillars and youāll often hear your realtor say you can only pick two. Those pillars are PRICE, LOCATION, and SIZE. If you want the best price you may have to sacrifice location etc... make sense?
Properties that check every single box are rare and tend to sell quickly even in the toughest markets.
If your budget can handle these rare unicorns, you should obviously go for it.
If you're younger, consider sacrificing size and maximizing your investment potential.
If you're older, maybe the ideal location is more valuable to you.
Remember, there's always a tradeoff!
