Today was a sad day 😔

I decided to take a step back from my cello lessons. Now I know there are bigger problems in this world. Trust me. My life is no walk in the park.

But I believe what gets us through are these small things that bring us joy.

And that's what learning cello did for me. It was something I did, just for me, to distract me from all of the 💩 out there.

But our life right now is a bit chaotic and I felt, because I couldn't dedicate the time to practice, I needed to take a break.

Cello is an extremely difficult instrument to learn how to play. It requires daily practice. And I was starting to get frustrated at my lack of improvement because I wasn't putting in the time. What was once enjoyable, was becoming stressful and upsetting.

Hopefully, I'll be back to my lessons by the end of the year once we have some things sorted out.🎻

Starting 2025 with this reminder...

The "perfect season" to sell doesn't exist. While, yes, some seasons might get you a higher sale price, you're likely buying in that same season anyway.
