Today is September 30th, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and one of many days that we talk about how ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ.โฃ
โฃ
Today, we and the country wear orange shirts to show our support for residential school survivors, to honour the thousands of Indigenous children that died at the hands of the Canadian government and the church, and allow Indigenous people to tell their truths. Today we reflect on the history and injustices of the past and present.โฃ
โฃ
Itโs a day full of complicated emotions - grief, sadness, anger and sorrow - and we can often feel them all at once.โฃ
โฃ
May we remember, reflect and take action together.โฃ
