Downtown Toronto Condo neighborhoods I show my clients with a $700k budget…
Budget sets the search. Lifestyle determines the neighborhood.
Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my full Toronto Buying Guide that saves you money.
Right now with prices sitting 14–20% below their 2022 peak and competition at a 30-year low, $700K opens doors that most buyers don’t even know are unlocked.
Inventory is up. The right neighbourhoods are still within reach.
These are the places we’re actually walking clients through right now when they reach out to start their search for a condo in this budget range:
Leslieville.
Walkable streets, a neighbourhood with genuine personality, and a price point that still makes sense for a real 2-bedroom.
Liberty Village.
Converted lofts, a tight-knit community feel, and modern amenities — without the downtown core premium.
Yonge and St Clair.
It doesn’t have the hype of King West or the Instagram presence of the Distillery. What it has is a midtown address on the Yonge subway line, a walkable main street that actually serves the people who live there, and decades of being one of the more liveable pockets in the city. $700K here gets you space, transit, and a neighbourhood that doesn’t need to announce itself.
Willowdale.
The most square footage for your dollar. Yonge-Sheppard subway at your door. The trade is commute time, and increasingly, it’s a trade worth making.
